The Worship Gathering - “Forgiveness” - Week 4
This week’s Worship Gathering was a continuation of last week. We talked specifically about giving up the luggage and baggage of people and things they’ve done to hurt us. We looked specifically at Matthew’s account of Jesus saying that if we were bringing our offering to the altar and remembered our brother had done something to us, we needed to leave our offering there and go set things straight between us and our brother. We felt like God was saying that a huge key to us being people of worship is our ability to forgive those who have wronged us. We partook in communion again. God did incredible things in the lives of everyone there.
