It sounds like it was an amazing experience. That song is one that always gets me. It's amazing to me how easily we seem to ignore the fact that He is all that we need. He is the only thing in our life that will truly get us through anything. It's interesting how often we seek comfort for a friend, a significant other, alcohol, etc. when things go wrong. I wish I could figure out why we did that. Why is it that the one thing/person that can truly help us through anything is the one person that we keep wanting to push away and ignore? Why do we fight God when He is trying to help us? It's almost like we have a mental block about how amazing God is. We tend to forget that how He helped us through the last trial in our life. For some reason, we think that some earthly thing is going to make it all better. It's like we stick our noses up at God. It's sad. I, personally, am so grateful that God does not do that to us. I can't even begin to count all the times that He has covered me with His grace. We are given such an amazing gift of His love. We are His children. How awesome is that to say? There are times that I, honestly, just sit in awe of Him and the fact that I am a child of God.

Really, and truly, is there a better gift?
